1. What is Photoshop?
It is software that is used to create and edit images.

2. List 10 things that you can do with photoshop.
   1. draw straight lines
   2. blur images
   3. shade images
   4. change the color of images
   5. move elements around
   6. use layers
   7. save a finished work
   8. write text
   9. use stamps
   10. use different brushes as if you hand drew the picture
3. Professions that would use photoshop to complete their work.
  Graphic designers, concept artists, commercial artists, etc.

4. Tool panel overview:
  • Name a type of selection tool - marquee
  • What does the move tool do and what is it's hot key? - It lets you move the layer around, hotkey= V
  • What is the hot key for the eyedropper tool and what does that tool do? - It picks a color you choose from your canvas, hotkey= I
  • What does the eraser tool do? - It subtracts pigment from the canvas
  • What tool creates straight, angled, or radial gradients, what is it's hot key? The gradient tool, hotkey = G
  • When might you use the brush tool? - You can use the brush tool for just about everything: drawing, shading, etc.
  • What is the difference between vector and raster? - Vector images are created with math and will not blur if you zoom in close. Raster images are created with pixels and will get blurry if too close.
  • What is the difference between aliased and anti aliased? - Aliased images produce sharp lines and antialiased has gradations of color.
